Paragon Cellular was founded in 1998 as a single franchise store of Altech Autopage Cellular, when Rad and Karien Jankovic opened the Faerie Glen retail outlet in Pretoria East.

These two individuals are still strategically and operationally involved as management team members of the business. Since the opening of the Faerie Glen store in 1998, Paragon Cellular has grown its operations with six (6) additional Altech Autopage Cellular Direct retail outlets situated in Brooklyn, Brooklyn Mall, Centurion, Menlyn, Benoni and Brakpan. Paragon Cellular has been nominated and selected as Altech Autopage Cellular’s top national business partner for the last three (3) consecutive years.

The success of Paragon Cellular and its seven (7) retail stores can be attributed to the relentless pursuit of customer service excellence, as well as the focus on building long term relationships with our customers, staff, suppliers and business partners. Paragon Cellular has also diversified the scope of the product and service offerings to include a cellular technical centre, a data and first line information technology support service, as well as an integrated business solutions enterprise, in the form of SyncroTec.

Due to the complexities and demands of operating several smaller business units, partnerships with dedicated, strong-minded, passionate individuals have been established over the years in order to allow for these individual business units to be managed more effectively and efficiently.
